This week I judged the Best Holiday Door Decoration Contest at the DeKalb Child Advocate Office after participating in the Best Holiday Door Decoration Contest in my own office. After the judging, I spoke to the staff about how important it is to have balance in their lives.

My quilt Stars Over My Christmas Garden is decorating my door this season. I think it is okay to be a brilliant lawyer and a creative person.

You are ever so right. My oldest daughter isn’t a quilter but made me the most wonderful tied fleece throw that I chersh. We display our artistic talents in many ways.
