Saturday , I performed my official duties as CEO of the Clara Ford Foundation. It was my pleasure to introduce Bisa Butler, the featured quilter of the Atlanta Quilt Festival, who shared her quilts with an enthusiastic crowd. Afterwards, I assisted in the presentation of a special gift to Bisa — a copy of Georgia Quilts.
Sunday, I was a student in Bisa’s Collage Portrait class along with 12 other talented quilters. The class was inspiring and fun. My portrait is a work in progress. Hopefully, she will be finished someday soon.
Oh, how wonderful, hoefully next year I can attend.

The Bisa Butler Class was so much fun and was a total flow of creativity on Sunday. Bisa was a great teacher and encouraged each of us to create her own version of the picture. I want to make more pictures now! Marva and OV always do an outstanding job of selecting superb teachers for the Clara Ford Foundation program every August.
