I spoke to a group of high school girls recently. My message is always the same — no matter what setbacks life throws at you, get back up and be the best you can be.

My “Be” series expands on that message by incorporating a specific quality in a quilt. My latest quilt in the series is called Be Brilliant. It is the fifth quilt in the series. Others are Be Amazing, Be Fearless, Be Bossy and Be Calm.
