This week my staff and I opened the doors of the DeKalb County Law Department to clients and colleagues who have made our job so joyful. We hosted the first annual DeKalb County Law Department Holiday Open House. We had a fabulous time!

The highlight of the event was the door/cubicle decoration contest. Our guests wandered throughout the office to vote for Best Door. They seemed to take their holiday civic duty very seriously. I know it was a hard decision because the creativity was amazing.

Of course, I would not be part of a party that did not include quilts. Our conference room was adorned with Christmas on Stonebriar. Visitors loved Santa’s Secret Weapon in the receptionist area, and those who made it to my office were introduced to Joyful Noise and Believe.

It was the best party ever! If you missed it, I hope to see you next year.
