Long Journey to Peace Finds A New Home

Long Journey to Peace, 35 x 35 inches, by O.V. Brantley, 2012.

I did not have time to introduce you to Long Journey to Peace before it sold. It only lasted one day in my Etsy studio store!

Long Journey to Peace is a quilted wallhanging that measures 35 x 35 inches. The dominant color is red. The rail fence background is heavily embellished with appliquéd African women, ribbon, shells, crystals and inspirational words. The fabric on the back is a “journey” motif. There is a lot of symbolism in this quilt.

This quilt has been shipped to a collector in Michigan.
