Give Yourself Big Flowers

Give Yourself Big Flowers in my hoop

After returning from the work place again (I served as the Interim East Point City Attorney for four months), I decided I needed a hand quilting project to return my brain to a calm place. I chose a UFO I have had for a year. I started this quilt in a class taught by Quilt Artist Juanita Yeager during the 2011 Atlanta Quilt Festival. Juanita taught us how to paint watercolors on silk. I enjoyed the class but never finished the quilt.

I named it Give Yourself Big Flowers in keeping with my life theme to always be good to yourself.
