Busy Making Baby Quilts for 2012 Atlanta Quilt Festival

India’s Prima Ballerina Stars, 71 x 89 inches, by O.V. Brantley, 2001.

The Clara Ford Foundation is seeking donations of hand crafted baby quilts to auction at the 2012 Atlanta Quilt Festival, so this week I am busy making baby quilts. Since I have waited until the last minute, luckily there are lots of beautiful panels on the market that can be quickly turned into a baby quilt.

The opening reception for the 2012 Atlanta Quilt festival will be held Sunday, July 29, 2012 at the South Fulton Arts Centerfrom noon to 4 p.m. In addition to the quilts and dolls, the opening reception will include a Book Fair, quilt demonstrations and a special auction of baby quilts.

The South Fulton Arts Center is located at 4645 Butner Road, College Park, GA. Join us for food, fun and quilts. The quilts will remain on exhibit until August 11, 2012.

See you at the Festival! Meanwhile, follow the Clara Ford Foundation on Facebook for the latest news.
