President’s Day is a good time to reflect on service to others. I have always been proud of my decision to enter public service. My quilt Good Things Are Happening celebrates my service to Fulton County. The quilt gets its name from the slogan my personal commissioner Bill Edwards popularized to make citizens excited about living in south Fulton County.
This quilt is one of my treasured heirlooms. It hangs in my home office.
Your quilt is very beautiful. All I can say about service to others is that is sometimes good to be able to give back to your community. I hope you enjoy your holiday.
