Each year I host a brunch for about 20 of my closest quilting friends. We call it our Fabric is Better Than Food brunch. There is no other purpose for the brunch except to eat, be merry and share quilts.
Before I can get to the good part though, I have to ready the house for Christmas. This includes hanging stockings, decorating two Christmas trees and showcasing as many Christmas quilts as possible.
I always start by hanging Santa’s Secret Weapon. That way, I know I am not alone. It will all get done and be magical when the quilters show up on the first Saturday in December right on cue to kick off my holiday season.
Do you include quilts in your holiday traditions?
