Quilt Studio Construction Passes Inspection

It doesn't look like much -- yet.

My Carpenters

Even in the midst of all of the activity of the Atlanta Quilt Festival, construction on my dream quilt studio continues. Once the HVAC was installed, the electrician, the plumber and the carpenters came in to do their part. Once the carpenters had framed the space to carve out a closet, a small kitchen and level the ceiling, I could really begin to see the contours of my new space.

The inspector came by this week and signed off on everything! What’s next? Insulation and drywall. Once I actually have walls, I don’t think I will be able to contain my excitement.
