A Life of Simple Abundance

A Life of Simple Abundance, 70 x 86 inches, by O.V. Brantley, 2011. For sale at http://www.ovbrant.etsy.com.

How are those gratitude journals coming? I am a big proponent of gratitude journals. (For those of you who are high tech, there is a gratitude journal app for the IPhone). The concept is simple. Write down 5 things for which you are grateful each day. That way you focus on what you have rather than what you do not have. Most of us have way more than we need.

I think of my quilt A Life of Simple Abundance as a supplement to my gratitude journal. I know that I live abundantly and for that I am grateful.

A Life of Simple Abundance  is a simple pattern and has an understated taupe color scheme. Words in the quilt such as “Life is lived in moments;” “Listen for the angel wings;” and “Blessings” carry out the theme of the quilt. It is listed for sale in my studio store.
