First Day of School

First Day of School, 38 x 50 inches, by O.V. Brantley, 2011. For sale at http://www.ovbrant.etsy.com.

Sometimes it is just fun to make a happy quilt. I have to admit that having a baby who is a freshman at the University of Pittsburgh living miles away makes it  hard not to be nostalgic about the early years. I remember India’s first day at the Lovett School  in 1996 like it was yesterday.

First Day of School indulges my nostalgia. It is listed for sale in my studio store.

Do you remember your child’s first day of school?
