Blue Moon Over Africa, 50 x 52 inches, by O.V. Brantley, 2010. For sale at http://www.ovbrant.etsy.com
I am a moody quilter so I keep at least 10 projects ongoing at any given time. This way, no matter what mood I am in, I have something I enjoy working on. Also, I usually have short-term projects as well as long-term projects underway because I need the instant gratification (if anything in quilting can be instant) of finishing. I never know what I will finish next since I send some quilts to long arm quilters, I quilt some on my machine, and I quilt some by hand. My quilt life is always full of pleasant surprises.
The first quilt that I am able to share in 2011 is called Blue Moon Over Africa. This quilt started out with some orphan blocks that I wanted to use. It turned into something I never imagined at the beginning of the process. Blue Moon Over Africa is listed for sale in my studio store.
