Safari WindDown was purchased and is headed for a very special person’s Christmas tree. Since I know the person who will receive it, I can truthfully say it is the perfect gift for her. The spirit of this quilt lives within her.

I was inspired to make this quilt because of the woman with the spear. She is obviously a warrior, and even as she takes a break at the end of the day, she watches over all that she loves, ever vigilant.
