October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

My Purple Cure, 54 x 54 inches, by O.V. Brantley, 2002.

October is breast cancer awareness month. I am sharing my quilt My Purple Cure to remind you to do whatever is within your power to help eradicate breast cancer from the face of the earth.

My Purple Cure was a block exchange between friends in 2002. The purple floral fabric was one of the early breast cancer fabrics. This quilt hangs in my guest bedroom to remind me of the fight for a cure and the friends who made this quilt.
