- Uncommon Legacy, 72 x 72 inches, by O.V. Brantley, 2009.
Uncommon Legacy was featured in the Clara Ford Foundation’s September 19, 2010 edition of the Start Your Week With a Quilt newsletter. It was used to illustrate how the simple act of doing something you love can lead to a lasting legacy.
Uncommon Legacy gets its name from the fact that the traditional Baltimore album blocks are done in bright colors on a black background. The applique was done by hand so I consider it a legacy quilt that will last for generations. It is listed for sale in my studio store.
