Election Day in Georgia

Good Things Are Happening, 47 x 52 inches, by O.V. Brantley, 2007.

It’s election day in Georgia. Voting is an awesome responsibility for all who live in a democracy. Take it seriously.

I made Good Things Are Happening as a memory quilt for my time spent working for Fulton County. The name comes from the slogan popularized by my personal Fulton County Commissioner Bill Edwards.
