Few things in my life can bump quilting off the top of my priority list, but getting India settled in college is job one for me these days. India and I spent Father’s Day and the days that followed in Pittsburgh. We were attending PittStart which is a pre-orientation program that all incoming freshmen at the University of Pittsburgh must attend. We had a fabulous time in Pittsburgh and came away knowing we had made the right college choice.
India plans to study Athletic Training with hopes of continuing on to medical school to become an orthopedic surgeon. The university is a leader in this field.
Although the university is in an urban setting, it felt very small town, almost country. We dubbed it urban country because it seemed so friendly.
We liked it, and we can’t wait to officially call it home away from home.
