It’s graduation week at our house. After 14 years at the Lovett School, India will receive her diploma Sunday. Before then, we are consumed with rituals like the senior picnic, juimping in the pond, the senior walk at the last chapel service, parent/student dance, holy communion and finally commencement.
Black Butterfly is the quilt I made to commemorate India getting her driver’s license. I knew life would never be the same after she was mobile. With the University of Pittsburgh in her future, she will truly fly away. I think she is ready.
