Atlanta Jazz Festival Starts This Weekend

My Music at Midnight, 38 x 45 inches, by O.V. Brantley, 2009.

Atlanta is a great city for jazz. I love listening to Clark Atlanta’s jazz station (91.9 FM). Some people say African American quilting is a lot like jazz — a lot of improv. True or not, jazz has inspired many a quilter.

During the month of May, there is jazz all around the city. Get out and hear some jazz.

My Music at Midnight is my ode to jazz. See it in person at my Open House this weekend at 500 Stonebriar Way, Atlanta, GA 30331 form 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.
