Snow Day in Atlanta

Hot Chocolate, 38 x45 inches, by O.V. Brantley, 2008. For sale at http://www.ovbrant.etsy.com.

We love our snow days in Atlanta. Nothing to do but curl up with a good book and a cup of hot chocolate. The city stops. Schools close. Unexpected vacation. Luckily, we know it is only temporary.

The browns and creams in the quilt featured above reminded me of hot chocolate, so that’s what I named it. After all, who doesn’t love hot chocolate with whipped cream?
