Friday night we celebrated the retirement of June Green, one of my best friends. You Shoulda Been a Delta is a quilt I gave her on her 50th birthday. June did not pledge a sorority, but she always felt like a sister to me.

My African Heritage went home with her as a little momento to mark the occasion. Congratulations, June!
