Fun at the Photography Exhibit

India at photo exhibit.5.21.09India’s first photography exhibit was a great success. Her entry for the exhibit, a photo of  her best friend Connie,  is shown below.

India’s special fan club of adult friends showed up for the event. Rosalind Newell, June Green, Judy Ivey and Sherryl Williams have been to ballet recitals, pageants, basketball games, Sweet 16 parties, and every other activity India’s mind was able to conceive over the last 17 years. This was the first opportunity to attend a photography exhibit so excitement filled the air. Justine Boyd and Brittany Hervey were also on hand to share in the festivities.

We capped off the evening with dinner and laughter. It was a good day.

As one of India’s original Fan Club Members, I was proud to see her photography so professionally displayed. It was wonderful and dinner at the Mellow Mushroom was a special treat. Keep it up, India!

Rosalind also soke to India every day when she was in the womb! When I showed up for work, Roz would say, “Hello India. This is Roz.”

I am sure that my child secretly thinks Roz is her mother because they are very much alike emotionally. Although India is stuck with me for a mother, she certainly got a good friend out of the deal.
