Roses are Red, 74 x 94 inches, by O.V. Brantley, 2007.
This is a gentle reminder that Mother’s Day is Sunday. Try to get that special gift, but in a pinch you can’t go wrong with roses.
Roses are Red is currently on loan to the Helene Mills Senior Multi-Purpose Center, 515 John Wesley Dobbs Avenue, Atlanta, GA. In case there are mothers visiting the center who did not get live roses, I hope they will enjoy the quilt.
The beautiful machine quilting on Roses are Red was done by Sylvia Davis. I know all of my sorors of Delta Sigma Theta will love this quilt. Feel free to leave me a comment.
What a beautiful quilt! I’m sure all the mother’s at the center will enjoy viewing it!
