Jazz Is In the Air In Atlanta

Many things inspire quilters. For me it is often the smooth notes of jazz that get me in a mellow, creative mood. Earl Klugh is my favorite.

Luckily, I live in Atlanta where there are limitless opportunities to listen to great jazz. During the spring and summer, many jazz concerts in the parks are free, and many restaurants offer  jazz on their patios to add ambience to your dining experience.

My Stars Got Rhythm is one of my quilts that was created with the mellow sounds of Earl Klugh in the background on my Pandora radio station. I spent many relaxing hours hand quilting it. It is currently offered for sale in my Etsy Studio Store.

Try getting your creative juices flowing with some great jazz!
