Hammonds House Museum Art Auction is Sunday

Sunday is a great time to add to your quilt collection. Hammonds House Museum is holding its 8th annual Art Auction this Sunday at the Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery from 2 – 7 p.m. In addition to other outstanding artists, quilter Patricia Landry will be one of the featured artists. She will offer Deep Sand Fishing (shown here) for sale.

There will be both a live and silent auction. Admission is $25.00 for members of Hammonds House and $30.00 for non-members. Hors  d’ouevres and wine will be served.

Hammonds House has been a leader in the Atlanta area in promoting the artistic side of quilting. It has sponsored exhibits and will kick off its Clara Ford Quilt Lecture Series August 1, 2009. Dr. Carolyn Mazloomi will be the speaker for the inaugural lecture. 

 The Mason Murer Fine Art Gallery is located at 199 Armour Avenue in Atlanta.
