Another milestone approaches. The Lovett High School prom is this weekend. Considering the drama that accompanies prom planning with a 17-year-old, I am remarkably calm. A suitable dress has been purchased. The handsome date is standing ready, and the prom after party is set.

It seems like a good time to pull out India’s 8th Grade Dance  to  reminisce, to wish I had my baby back, and to get  on with planning the prom quilt.
