Gate City Bar President Chooses Quilter for Service Award

Willie LovettJust to complete the circle of the previous post, here is some interesting information about Willie Lovett, President of the Gate City Bar Association. Willie is a Harvard trained lawyer who is the Deputy Fulton County Attorney. We worked together for many years, and wow, do we have some stories to tell!  He is an extraordinarily talented lawyer, but more importantly, he is also a lover of quilts.  I guess it is not too surprising that he would choose Rosalind Newell, a quilter, for the President’s Service Award.

Willie owns several quilts including two that were made by me. I am sure he would not mind me sharing Willie’s World with you. Last time I checked it was hanging in his lovely home that he shares with wife Seletha.
