I am a new quiter and as such have started my collection of red and white fabric to make my quilt. I do however have a crimson and cream wall hanging quilt that I purchased at a National Convention. Our St. Louis Alumnae Chapter will celebrate its Founders Day January 30, where I will be honored with a 25 plus year membership plaque and a Delta Dear pin.

I am a new quiter and as such have started my collection of red and white fabric to make my quilt. I do however have a crimson and cream wall hanging quilt that I purchased at a National Convention.

Every time I look at the framed one over my fireplace, I marvel at the bouquet of flowers. The "gentleman farmer" quilt was truly a wonderful surprise and special Christams gift for a friend. And let's not foregt about the unbelievable purse quilt Laura Turner Seydel purchased at our YWCA Open Your Purse Auction in 2008 for $1,500 and donated to a woman and son who had lived in our transition home. And, of course, the most precious quilt of all is dad's..."There's No Place Like Jesse's Home." What a befitting title since I love going home - everybody knows that! Dad said recently that you can't find a good quiltmaker anymore. Well, he hasn't met you but he will soon. I will let you know his reaction...I am getting choked up now just thinking about it.
