Surround Yourself With People Who Make You Smile
Have you noticed that you are smiling a little more this month? It’s because it is May, and beautiful flowers are popping up everywhere. Flowers have the power to make us smile.
If you find a person who has the power to make you smile, keep that person in your life forever. Every survey I have ever read about relationships indicates that a sense of humor is one of the most important attributes we look for when choosing a companion. And why not? We now know that laughter makes us live longer, and we all want to live forever, right?
So why stop at life partners? Find friends who make you smile. Find co-workers who make you smile. Find quilt guild members who make you smile. Find neighbors who make you smile. Find a preacher who makes you smile. Find sorority sisters who make you smile. Find team mates who make you smile. And when you run out of people to make you smile, buy yourself some flowers.
So this week I share with you my newest, favorite quilt. It is called You Make Me Smile. It’s a happy quilt, and it makes me smile. In case I can’t find my peeps, and I can’t find flowers, I will always have this quilt to cover me.

Until next week, surround yourself with people who make you smile, and by all means, stay on the high road!
