As is our custom, yesterday, the Brown Sugar Stitchers Quilt Guild gathered at the Carrie Steele Pitts Home for Children to present quilts to the children. This is always the highlight of my quilting year. It puts everything in perspective when you are able to give something special to someone who has so little.

My quilt went to a beautiful young lady who gave me the best hug ever. She said she really loved the quilt and knew I had worked hard on it. This is why I quilt.
